This will be Wouters last show with the band, as he is moving to Germany in februari.

We’re gonna play on 3FM met Barend in the night from 20->21 November! We’re playing one of our own songs and, in 3FM tradition, a cover.
Good times at Sounds at Popronde Tilburg last thursday!
The Popronde is almost over, we’ll be playing the final date in Eindhoven this friday at 01:00 at the Jack.
It’s gonna be fuzz all over the place!
We’ve got a new press photo, Bernard Bodt took a shot at a special location: the Garden of Eden.
We’ve done some acoustic shows this year.
Most of the Beneath The Surface songs were actually written on acoustic guitar or piano. Offcourse with electric guitar in mind but still. In their core they can be played with just an acoustic guitar and a vocal.
So when we got the chance to do a few acoustic shows this year we took the challenge.
We brought the songs a little different, we didn’t want to just play our parts acoustic, we wanted to bring something different to the experience.
We got a lot of positive comments from people and people asked us if there was any recorded acoustic material available: there wasn’t.
There is now! We turned my living room into a recording room and did some acoustic songs in a live setting.
We are giving them away for free! Enjoy!

Lucas Vergeest is our new synth player.
He is from Nijmegen and his first live show with the group will be at Popronde Zwolle the 10th of September.
Ester is going to focus on other things, we wish her all the best.
We had a GREAT time at de-Affaire! It was very special to headline the Lift! podium that day. Thank you all for watching, listening, and screaming with us. Special thanks to the guy down the front playing air-guitar the entire show!
Next: we’re going to release something in September… We’re going to record a 4 song acoustic digital EP. It’s going to be a FREE DOWNLOAD. Yes! We’ve done a couple of acoustic shows and we’ve got a lot of reactions to them. We reworked a lot of songs from the ‘Beneath the Surface’ album for these shows and now we want to capture them in a studio performance.

We’ll be playing @ de-Affaire on monday evening the 18th of July at around 23:15 at the Lift! stage. Awesome! We’re looking forward to this one folks!
De-Affaire and Habana take place from 16 to 22 July 2011 in the Valkhof Park in Nijmegen and entrance to the festival is free. For more information go here.

Bergpop: We did an acoustic show in Villa Bloem, which is recorded and will be online soon, and an electric show at the Undergound stage @ het Gat.
3Voor12/Gelderland reviewed both gigs.
They said about the acoustic gig: “Fruit of the Original Sin give their loud guitar songs an extra dimension by centering the acoustic performance around the vocals. The band even managed to affect and move the audience.”
And about the electric gig: “The band plays tight and explores many dynamic corners. This makes the gig exciting and the alternative rock/stoner rock fits the evening perfectly”

We’ll be playing at the Bergpop festival in Wageningen the 2nd of July.
The festival starts at 16:00 and we’ll be playing at 20:45 at the Underground stage.
